Early Intervention for School Success (EISS) is a unique multifaceted program structured to:

Assist teachers, support staff, and parents in providing successful learning experiences for children, from preschool through second grade

Develop a team approach to collaboration and support among those individuals who play a critical role in a child’s success

Strive to build shared knowledge and collaboration in: Child Development, Teaching Practices, Assessment, Family/School/Community Connection, and Program/Self Evaluation.

Facilitate a deeper understanding of how children develop, how to collect and record assessment data, and how to use a variety of strategies needed to plan and implement appropriate educational experiences

Implement and support Professional Learning Communities (PLCs)

EISS is a powerful training, teaching, and classroom design process rooted in research-based best practices. EISS Teams gain extensive knowledge of early childhood education and standards-based instruction in order to increase their effectiveness as educators. It helps schools and preschool centers strengthen their implementation of teaching strategies that scaffold children’s academic achievement and the involvement of parents. Children are encouraged to share responsibility for their learning while teachers guide the learning process through differentiated instruction and intervention strategies.
