Eligibility
Eligible applicants include:

Public school districts serving preschool through second grade students

State-funded preschools

County offices of education applying on behalf of, and in cooperation with, direct service school districts, a consortia of small districts, or state-funded preschools |
Ineligible applicants include:
- Charter Schools
- Federally funded preschool programs (i.e., Head Start)

If you are not a school district, county office, or state-funded preschool, call the EISS office at 714.327.8180 to determine your eligibility. It is recommended that no more than two schools apply together in the same grant and that the sites be a reasonable distance geographically.
